· Prenatal Yoga—A special 6-week class for expectant mothers on Fridays at 4:30 p.m. with Tracy. Classes will be especially sequenced for pregnant women to relieve tension and prepare the mind and body for childbirth. Pre-registration  required. $80/session. · Beyond Asana— Friday, February 24th at 7 p.m.Deepen your understanding of yoga as it applies to life as we know it. Join Cara in this special gathering to discuss yoga philosophy and how it can offer you  tools to smooth edges off of life and shine a light on the opportunities and joy life presents you. Bring your questions and topics you’d like to discuss.  This sangha is FREE, but love offerings are welcomed

· Teachers CircleFriday, Feb. 3rd, 7 p.m. A special sangha for yoga teachers and prospective teachers in the area who are interested in sharing their ideas, teaching tips and suggestions and discuss concerns and issues we face as instructors. Free, but love offerings are welcomed. Come with an open heart.

· Chakra Vinyasa FlowFriday, Feb. 10th, 7 p.m. Work your way up your chakras  with this vigorous Level 2-3 vinyasa class with Leslie. Open and re-balance your chakras while learning about the unique power of each individual chakra along the way.

· Yoga for  Depression—Friday, March 2nd, 7 p.m. Learn how yoga can help to lift your depression when struggling through difficult personal challenges. Class will be gentle and therapeutic in nature.

· Tight Guy Yoga—Tuesdays at 5 p.m. A beginning yoga class for men who would like to learn and practice yoga without the pressure of a mixed class. Classes are especially designed  to release physical tightness typical in men’s bodies, manage pain and reduce stress. Next 6-week session begins March 6th. Pre-registration required. $80/session.

· Yoga for Anxiety—Friday, March 16th, 7 p.m. Find out ways yoga can help you manage your anxiety during times of stress and uncertainty. Learn techniques and poses for calming the mind and your nerves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Coming on Friday, April 20th, from 6-9 p.m: GABRIEL HALPERN, Experience this rare and special opportunity to study with Master Yoga Instructor and  founder of Yoga Circle, Chicago. Gabriel Halpern is certified and trained by the internationally acclaimed Hatha Yoga Master of Yogarchaya BKS Iyengar, whose life work has been his inspiration. In 1985, Gabriel founded the Yoga Circle in Chicago. He has been on the De Paul University theater faculty for the last 23 years. Marriage and two children provide additional grounding and joy in his life. After nearly four decades of continuous study and practice and three trips to India, Gabriel’s teaching is a celebration of all that is yoga: science, philosophy, art, and mystical mentoring. 

Class size is limited. Pre-registration required. $50 for 3-hour workshop. It’s worth his dharma talk alone!

The above events and classes are pre-registration classes unless otherwise noted.   However, if space allows, drop-ins are welcome on the day of the event or class.  Unless otherwise noted, special class and workshop fees are $20/person if pre-paid 48 hours before the event, or $25 at the door.  6-week pre-registration classes are just $80 for the session. Punch Cards can be used for all classes except special events and classes requiring pre-registration. Punch cards are non-refundable and non-transferrable, but are good for one year. 30 class card does not expire.
